W-League Roars to the Sunshine Coast

23rd Nov, 2011 by Charles Hodgson View News

Sunshine Coast FootballSunshine Coast Stadium will play host to a landmark event for women’s football on the Sunshine Coast with none other than the reigning Champions, Brisbane Roar FC, clashing with Adelaide United in their Westfield W-League December 10 Round 8 fixture.
The match is scheduled for 2pm with gates opening from 1pm and a big crowd is expected for what will be a superb afternoon of football entertainment.
Opportunities to see the pinnacle of women’s domestic football are a rarity outside capital cities and both Sunshine Coast Football and Brisbane Roar are very excited to make this event accessible for football fans on the Sunshine Coast.
