WATCH: Three new Sunshine Coast state schools are among five new south-east Queensland state schools set to welcome their first students and teachers in 48 hours’ time.
The Queensland Government has announced a new school crossing supervisor for Woombye State School, bolstering road safety for local families.
New primary schools will be built in Caloundra South and North Maclean (Greenbank) and a new special school will be constructed in Coomera all in time for the 2022 school year.
The opening of a new state school on the Sunshine Coast is another step closer, with construction reaching the half-way mark.
