Three new Toyota vehicles has Wishlist ‘feeling good’

28th Jul, 2014 by Charles Hodgson View News

Major fundraising activities through the past Give Me 5 for Kids campaign as well as support from Sunshine Toyota has resulted in major local charity Wishlist taking possession of three new Toyota Yaris vehicles.
Wishlist Chief Executive Officer Lisa Rowe said the generosity of the local community, through Give Me Five For Kids, along with Alliance partner Sunshine Toyota would enable it to continue supporting health services on the Sunshine Coast.
“There’s no doubt we are echoing Sunshine Toyota’s motto and we are ‘feeling good now.’  Best of all, new mums across the Coast will also be feeling good because they will have better access to the extended midwifery service home visits thanks to these smart new vehicles,” Lisa said.
Sunshine Toyota Dealer Principal Darren Venning said his dealership was proud to be a major Alliance Partner with Wishlist so that it could continue to provide its important community health service across the region.
“As a 100 per cent family owned and operated company, we pride ourselves on supporting our community whether it be charities, schools or sporting teams.  When the opportunity came up to become an Alliance Partner with Wishlist we quickly jumped at it because it’s a tremendous charity and it’s also great to be associated with other corporate leaders such as Westpac and Telstra,” he said.
Ms Rowe commended Sunshine Toyota for their community spirit in supporting Wishlist and contributing towards providing important health services for the people of the Sunshine Coast.
“In this tough competitive environment today, we understand how significant it is for a local company to make such a contribution and we are delighted to welcome Sunshine Toyota as a much valued Alliance Partner of Wishlist,” Lisa said.
