Today, Tuesday 10th June, The Kindness Project in conjunction with Little Ducklings Daycare at Maroochydore, launched a charity campaign called “Little Helpers”.
The aim of our campaign is to collect over $5000 worth of dry goods and pantry items, which will then be donated to a local children’s charity – SunnyKids.
The campaign also aims to enrich the lives of local families and children, through raising awareness of SunnyKids and the amazing work they do. We also are very pleased to say that the children (our ‘Little Helpers’) at Little Ducklings are getting involved by talking about helping others and kindness towards those less well off in the local community – never too young to help one another!
The Kindness Project is very grassroots, and driven solely by community support and everybody pulling together to help a cause.
It is our hope through community involvement we can really get behind this local initiative and help support the “Little Helpers” campaign. The campaign runs until the 1st August so plenty of time to get on board, and have those donated pantry items start rolling in!
