Teenager airlifted after fall at popular water hole

A 15 year old who fell down Kondalilla Falls has been rescued by the AGL Action Rescue Helicopter.
The boy was jumping with mates at the Kondalilla swimming hole when he slipped and fell four metres on to rocks.
The AGL Action Rescue Helicopter winched its Intensive Care Flight Paramedic and Rescue Crewman down to the teen.
He was suffering head and shoulder injuries. The boy was stabilised at the scene and stretcher winched up to the helicopter.
He was airlifted to Nambour General Hospital in a stable condition.
