New owners for Landsborough IGA

There’s new owners of the Landsborough IGA.
Ashley and Casandra Grigor, took over ownership of the supermarket on Monday 20th August and with this endeavour  comes an exciting challenge for the family.
The enthusiastic husband and wife hope to create a family-friendly shopping environment with themselves and their three daughters working along side staff members.
The Grigor family have previously owned an IGA supermarket and were eager to embrace the business venture waiting at the Landsborough store. The Grigor name is well known in the Hinterland district dating back to early pioneering days in the timber industry. Casandra Grigor is a well known Maleny identity  with her parents Bob and Daphne Hawkins previously operating school buses in the area for many years.
New owner Ashley Grigor believes that the Landsborough IGA encompasses the ‘community spirit’ of a local town and is enthusiastic to make gentle changes within the store.
“As soon as we [my wife and I] began enquiring about the Landsborough IGA we felt a strong community feel, which we believe is very important and we look forward to working with the community”.
“ Tim and Paula Watson have done a wonderful job with the store over the past twelve years and we hope to build on that  and expand the product range available to our customers with a strong emphasis on sourcing quality local produce wherever possible” said Ashley.
In the coming months the store will be undergoing some changes with new shelving, fresh produce display and check out counters being installed.
The new owners are sorry for any inconveniences that may occur to customers over the following weeks due to the processes of new ownership, with stock levels being back to normal within the coming weeks.
The Grigor Family and their friendly staff look forward to seeing you in store.
