Maleny High School student, 15 year old Dash Sacks has been awarded a Black Belt by World Master Chong Chul Rhee, the father of TaeKwon-Do in Australia.
Dash has been training at Maleny Rhee TaeKwon-Do for almost 2 years, in which time he has achieved a high level of expertise in the art of self defence. He successfully completed a series of tests, including board breaks, a pattern of self defence techniques and multi person sparring to achieve his black belt.
Rhee TaeKwon-Do is the first and biggest martial art school in Australia, with over 1300 branches. Besides self defence, instructors teach respect and good manners, and students are only allowed to use the art for self defence purposes.
