Festive Season launch

Mooloolaba Christmas Lights

Mooloolaba Christmas Lights
Cr Chris Thompson with Mayor Bob Abbot light the first tree of Council's Christmas tree trail

Celebrate Sunshine Coast Council’s program of fun, family-friendly festive season activities and events.
Council started the festive season by progressively flicking the switches of 29 community Christmas trees as part of the annual Christmas Tree Trail.
The Mooloolaba tree is the first and largest festive installation and all the decorations have been designed and assembled in Queensland.
Mayor Bob Abbot and Division 4 Councillor Chris Thompson flicked the switch tonight as they lit up the night in Mooloolaba for the start of the festive season.
Listen to Mayor Abbot’s thoughts on this year’s Council Festive Season Program and the Christmas Tree Trail.
