Police from the Sunshine Coast District CIB Drug and Serious Crime Task Force have charged a 22-year-old Coolum Beach man with a range of drug offences including importation of a controlled substance following a joint investigation with Australian Customs and Border Protection Service.
It will be alleged that following the execution of a warrant at a Greenoaks Drive, Coolum residence a quantity of drugs including MDMA, cannabis and methyl-amphetamines were found.
Police will further allege the man was importing drugs into the country and trafficking them around the Sunshine Coast area.
The 22-year-old man was charged with 16 counts of importation of a border controlled substance, three counts of possessing dangerous drugs and one count each of trafficking dangerous drugs and possession of a drug utensil.
He is due to appear in the Maroochydore Magistrates Court on September 9.
