Chris Ridd will inspire Caloundra business people to embrace the digital era to grow their business, save money and increase productivity.

Chris Ridd, one of the nation’s most respected software gurus will motivate Sunshine Coast businesses to embrace the new digital era, at a March Better Business Breakfast.
The Caloundra Chamber of Commerce networking breakfast: Digital Innovation in Action will be held at the Caloundra Events Centre, on Wednesday 12 March from 6.45am to 8.45am.
Chamber Executive Officer Leanne Layfield says Chris Ridd, currently Xero Australia’s Managing Director, is at the forefront of cloud computing services.
She said in 2012, Chris was invited to participate in the Prime Minister’s Forum on the Digital Economy and in December 2012, he was invited to join the 2013 Telework Advisory Panel.
 “At our March breakfast, Sunshine Coast business owners and their staff will have the opportunity to learn first-hand from Chris, how to re-engineer some old ways of doing business by leveraging technologies,” Leanne said.
She said his presentation would also enable attendees to realise the digital era brings incredible potential for the growth of businesses of all sizes.

Chris Ridd is frequently invited to appear on Sky Business News to discuss cloud computing and online business software, as well as speaking at industry conferences.
Before joining Xero, Chris was director of the Microsoft Dynamics business Group for Australia. He has a reputation for effective and decisive execution of strategy, as well as a proven ability in building and leading strong teams.
