National retail services company McKenzie Hall has announced the appointment of Jennifer Ellis as Centre Manager for the new Maroochydore Homemaker Centre on the Sunshine Coast.
Ms Ellis has more than 15 years’ experience in the retail property management on the Sunshine Coast, including senior asset manager roles with CBRE, FPDSavills-Byvan and the Macquarie CountryWide Trust.
Based on the Sunshine Coast, she will be responsible for the day to day management, operations and marketing of the new Maroochydore Homemaker Centre.
Currently under construction and scheduled to open in November, the centre will be anchored by a flagship Harvey Norman for the Sunshine Coast along with Domayne, Joyce Mayne, Harvey Norman Big Buys and 16 other National Brand retail showrooms totalling in excess of 32,785sq m.
The project will also feature 5,000sq m of premium first floor commercial space, a Good Life gym, 900 undercover parking spaces and lift access.
Ms Ellis brings extensive high-level and hands-on retail property management experience, and a thorough understanding of the local retail market, to the new Maroochydore Homemaker Centre.
She was most recently Associate Director, Asset Services with CBRE on the Sunshine Coast, where she had overall responsibility for the management, administration and operation of the group’s local asset portfolio.
She was also previously Retail Property Manager for seven properties of the Macquarie CountryWide Trust stretching from Brisbane to Mackay and including centres at Nambour, Currimundi and Mooloolaba.
She was also involved in the administration and management of 11 centres for FPDSavills – Byvan on the Sunshine Coast.
Ms Ellis said she is looking forward to delivering an exciting new retailing experience to the Sunshine Coast at the new Maroochydore Homemaker Centre.
“This is a unique development in the maturing commercial hub of Maroochydore that will feature the biggest range of national retail homemaker brands in the region under one roof,” she said.
