Brough hits back over menu controversy

13th Jun, 2013 by Charles Hodgson View News

[Audio Highlights] In a press conference this morning, LNP Candidate for Fisher Mal Brough clarified the circumstances surrounding the controversy that broke yesterday where it was alleged that at an LNP fundraiser, a menu appeared which contained references to the Prime Minister in highly sexist and derogatory terms.
Mr Brough fronted the media this morning to answer questions regarding the event in question, his initial apology, his absence from the media yesterday and whether a letter from the restaurant owner Joe Richards clearing Mr Brough of any involvement was of Mr Richard’s own valuation.
Here are highlights of what Mr Brough had to say.
