Ausmar Carson Home – offering clarity on the myriad of inclusions builders offer

Local award-winning builder, Ausmar Homes believes it has levelled the playing field for those looking to build on the Sunshine Coast by offering clarity on the myriad of inclusions builders offer in its new display home in the Stockland Brightwater Display Village.
The Ausmar Homes ‘Carson’ display home tackles the problem of comparing different builder’s inclusions by including a specially designed ‘Standards Room’ highlighting their standard inclusions which are well above the required industry criteria.
Director of Ausmar Homes, Tim Hendy, says the innovative room is in response to clients not fully understanding how to compare apples with apples when it comes to building their new home.
“There is a lot of confusion in the market and this room helps people understand the differences to look for when comparing builders and what they should be expecting as standard,” Mr Hendy said.
“We have uncovered parts of the wall and the ceiling and listed the Australian building standards against our inclusions such as treated pine frames and trusses, 450mm framing centres for all wall stud widths and insulation in wall and ceilings.”
“Many people don’t realise that these are not included in the industry standard, so unfortunately there are some builders who charge this on top of their base price.  It is about educating those looking to build, on what to look for when selecting a builder – making sure they have enough information to ask the right questions.”
In addition to the Standards Room the Ausmar team has packed some great features into a design that would suit small families and professional couples.
“The central kitchen and main living area are the hub of this home with 40mm Essa Stone benchtops, beautiful travertine tiled feature walls and a raised timber ceiling over the kitchen giving a great feeling of space and light,” Mr Hendy said.
“The Carson plan has been a popular new design that works well on the smaller estate block or as an investment property.”
The Ausmar Homes Carson is now open in Yellow Fin Circuit, Brightwater, Mountain Creek. Sales Consultant Marc Wood is available for guided tours of the home between 10am-5pm Saturday to Wednesday.
