Police are investigating an armed robbery of a video store at Mountain Creek on Saturday night.
Initial investigations indicate a man entered the business at the corner of Gold Links Drive and Karawatha Drive around 10.30pm armed with a meat cleaver.
He threatened the 17-year-old female attendant and demanded cash.
The employee complied and the man fled the store with a sum of cash.
He is described as around 170cm tall, aged in his mid 20’s, of medium build with a tanned complexion.
He was wearing a dark coloured hoodie.
