Armed robbery at Bli Bli – Update

Police have charged two males in relation to the armed robbery of a bus driver at Bli Bli last night.
Shortly before 8.15pm, the two males, who were passengers on a bus driving along Waigani Street, allegedly threatened the driver with a knife and demanded cash.
The pair then allegedly stole a cash box and left the bus.
An 18-year-old Pacific Paradise man has been charged with armed robbery and is due to appear in the Maroochydore Magistrates Court today.
A 14-year-old Maroochydore boy has also been charged with armed robbery and will be dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justice Act.

Police are investigating the armed robbery of a bus driver that occurred last night at Bli Bli.
Shortly before 8:15pm, a bus was driving along Waigani Street when the driver was approached by two male passengers as the bus pulled over to the side of the road.
One of them has produced a knife and demanded cash from the driver.
The two men have taken a box which contained a sum of cash and left the bus. They were last seen on Waigani Street.
The men are both Caucasian in appearance, in their late teens and around 170cms tall.
Investigations are continuing.
