The annual Art Show at Sunshine Coast Grammar School brought the campus to life on Friday evening, November 4 with colour and creativity showcasing a selection of over 1,000 artworks for the annual Grammar Art Show.
A hive of creativity, featuring live music and artistic displays the show featured student works from Prep through to Year 12 and included a special presentation by guest judge, Dawn Oelrich, Curator of the Sunshine Coast University Art Gallery, who awarded prizes for the Grammar “Archi” and prestigious Grammar Emerging Artist Award.
The cocktail event provided students with the opportunity to have their work on exhibition for parents, friends and guests to view in an open gallery style environment, with the Grammar Hall being transformed into a sea of colour.
Guests attending the event had the opportunity to meander through the aisles taking in the detail, textures and sheer creativity on display.
