The future of sport and recreation in Queensland is looking bright with Sunshine Coast clubs set to benefit from a $1.4 million funding boost over three years as part of the Local Sport and Recreation Jobs Plan program.
Dicky Beach Surf Life Saving Club hosted around 100 students from across the North Coast today as part of the Bligh Government’s Deadly Surf Sports program.
Coolum school students can now fire up their fitness routines after the official opening of their new $46,738 exercise site. Sport Minister Reeves said the Government contributed $34,674 and the Coolum State School P&C provided the remainder.
