Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a man in Mooloolaba this morning.
Initial investigations indicate a 34-year-old man attended the Mooloolaba marina on Parkyn Parade around 5.30am.
The man allegedly became agitated and aggressive towards a female staff member before allegedly assaulting her and a male staff member.
Other staff have rushed to their assistance and physically restrained the man on the ground when they noticed he had stopped breathing.
Staff members attempted to resuscitate the man, however he died at the scene.
Investigations are continuing.
