Police appeal for witnesses, Beerburrum

Police are appealing for members of the public who may have witnessed the serious traffic crash at Beerburrum on Tuesday 31st around 2:15pm to come forward.
A green Ford Falcon station wagon was travelling northbound along Steve Irwin Drive when it collided with a southbound red Mitsubishi Lancer at around 2.20pm.
The 28-year-old driver of one car received critical injuries and was airlifted to hospital, while the driver and passenger of the other car were transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police would particularly like to speak to motorists who were driving northbound along Steve Irwin Drive behind the green station wagon.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
