Tourism Noosa launched its newest marketing campaign Noosa Now to members at an industry function this week with positive feedback and immediate uptake from operators with over 50 operators providing holidays deals for October and November.
Designed to capture last minute weekend and short break getaways during what is a traditional shoulder period, the campaign will reach Brisbane and regional Queensland with a range of targeted media.
The $40 000 campaign focuses on mid week messaging to target Brisbane professionals and those living within drive radius in regional Queensland, motivating them to take advantage of special holiday deals, including accommodation, dining and activities for the coming weeks and weekends ahead.
General Manager of Tourism Noosa, Damien Massingham said the drive market is a very important market for Noosa and this campaign is targeted to encourage immediate bookings for a Noosa holiday.
“We are inviting members to participate in the campaign with a range of affordable co-operative opportunities, including print and television advertising.”
“Noosa Now is strategically timed to continue the strong visitation seen with the September school holidays period and to maintain the momentum of the Noosa Tri leading up to the Christmas season” Mr Massingham said.
Darren McClenaghan from RACV Noosa Resort has signed up for the co-operative print campaign and said “We have participated in several of Tourism Noosa’s marketing campaigns in the past and find the co-operative opportunities really work for us, allowing us to reach core markets for a really affordable investment.”
The Noosa Now campaign includes a dedicated campaign site featuring great holiday deals, radio, print, television and social media activity.
