If you know a migrant who has made an excellent contribution to the Sunshine Coast community, nominate them for the 2011 Multicultural Excellence Awards.
These awards aim to recognise the positive impact migrants have made to the local community, as well as highlight the Sunshine Coast as a multicultural region.
Nominations are open until Friday 14 October in the following categories: Business, Academic/Education, Arts, Community, Health/Medical, Sport and Youth Achievement.
Whether it’s a friend, family member or colleague, recognise their efforts with a nomination.
The awards ceremony will be held on Saturday 5 November from 6.30pm at the Coastline BMW Showroom.
This cocktail style awards ceremony will include canapes from Kadek’s Kitchen, wines from Purple Palate and a special guest appearance from Brisbane based Youth Without Borders President, Yassmin Abdel-Magied.
