Bob, the busy bus driver at Caloundra Christian College was happy to have finished the last two weeks of the school year driving around in luxury and comfort. The arrival of the brand new 43-seat BCI Classmaster bus, complete with seatbelts, air conditioning and the vibrant external montage, was in readiness to accommodate the increasing number of enrolments which the College is receiving for 2013.
Further fleet upgrades are anticipated over the next two years as settlement on the coast continues to increase geographically. Acquisition of new, fully seat belted and air conditioned vehicles plays a demonstrable part in the College’s commitment to enhancing the opportunity for local families to access quality Christian education.
“The vehicle has proved to be a tremendous hit with students and staff alike, due particularly to the increased comfort level on excursions and sports events,” said Mr Mark Spencer, College Bus Coordinator. “The bus is a wonderful reflection of the dignity and self esteem for which the College strives. After all, who wouldn’t want to live, study and work in beautiful Caloundra?” Mr Spencer said.
