Muscle hits the Mountain

3rd Jul, 2012 by Charles Hodgson View News

Maleny’s second annual Muscle on the Mountain was held on Sunday. The weather was kind which made for a large number of cars on display and a large crowd to soak up the sights, sounds, fumes and nostalgia.
The event is held to raise awareness of men’s health and in particular awareness of prostate cancer.
The event organiser had a simple message to the blokes to show a little of the care that they show their four wheeled muscle towards themselves. You owe it to yourself and you family to get a simple (BPA) blood test. The best chance of beating prostate cance is through early detection.
This year over $10,000 was raised for the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia.
The story of the day is best told in pictures.
