Local Sunshine coast mum’s Lara Hodgson and Rebecca Mugridge know that mum’s really can make a difference, a big difference. They are both successful mumpreneurs in their own right. Lara is the creator of the Sunshine Coast’s top website for families Sunnycoastkids.com.au and Rebecca is the author of the award winning book the Pram Diet.
On October 21st these two passionate Aussie mums will lead a parade of very pink prams attempting the Guinness World record for the most prams moving at once. Currently held by Hong Kong at just 574 prams! They are combining the pram walk itself with an exciting family fun day held at the Caloundra Kings Beach Amphitheatre complete with children’s entertainment, Scooby Doo, Tweety & Silvester, stalls, food, rides, guest speakers and really exciting prizes and its all fundraising for breast cancer and the Sunshine Coast charity Cindy Mackenzie Breast Cancer Foundation PINKTOBER Appeal.
Of course you don’t need a pram to participate, walkers of all ages and gender are welcome. To register go to pinkprampush.com.au.
Breast cancer is something close to both their hearts and families and they wanted to created and event that not only raised money for breast cancer but also promoted healthy lifestyles and connected communities.
A positive event the whole community could be involved in.
They are proud to be supported by many local Sunshine Coast businesses including this year’s naming major sponsor the Maleny Supa IGA and their special guest opening speakers.
