13th Aug, 2012 by Charles Hodgson View News

Ferguson Cannon Lawyers will soon join the Emporio family, with the leading local law firm having leased 405m2 of commercial space on Level One at No. 2 Emporio Place.

Ferguson Cannon Lawyers Managing Director Glenn Ferguson said the firm was keen to move into the Emporio precinct and establish a fresh and modern face for the company right in the heart of Maroochydore.
“One of our major priorities was to be centrally located and offer our clients a truly sophisticated experience; we were pleased to find all this and more at Emporio,” Mr Ferguson said.
“Our office fit-out is currently taking place and we’re looking forward to welcoming clients to our new office at Emporio by 20 August.”
Tony Justo of Colliers International and Dustin Welch of Savills Sunshine Coast are the exclusive agents for Emporio retail and commercial.
“Since the signing of this lease there is only 330m2 of A-Grade commercial office space remaining on Level One,” Mr Justo said.
This space has a market rate of $360/m2 net.
“As Emporio comes to life we are receiving more and more interest for commercial tenancies,” Mr Welch said.
Reed Property Group Project Director Ross Webb said he was pleased to see such a well-respected Queensland legal practice joining the Emporio community and felt the firm was a perfect fit for the lively European-inspired precinct.
“Ferguson Cannon Lawyers possess a diverse client base that is both national and internationally based. Attracting tenants of this calibre really puts Emporio on the commercial radar,” Mr Webb said.
No. 2 Emporio Place is a four-storey building within the Emporio commerce precinct, offering more than 2,200m2 of A-Grade office accommodation over three levels.
