Meet the Maleny Precinct advisory working group
The newly appointed advisory group recently met with Councillor Jenny McKay for an onsite inspection of the Maleny Precinct site.
Representatives of the Maleny Golf Club, Maleny Precinct Action Network, Maleny District Sport & Recreational Club, Historical Society, Greenhills, Obi Obi Parklands, Cr Jenny McKay and officers from council, make up the advisory committee.
Cr McKay said that this advisory committee is a very positive step forward for council and the community.

“Council is committed to working with communities where possible, and this particular development is a major interest to Maleny residents.” Cr McKay said.
“There is definitely a real feeling of enthusiasm from everyone involved in this, and I believe we will work together toward a positive outcome for the community.”
The advisory committee meet on a monthly basis.
