Big turn out for the Manufactured Home Park consultation forum
Member for Glass House, Andrew Powell MP, was impressed with the number of people that turned up at the proposed Manufactured Homes legislation consultation forums.
“In response to outcry from local Glass House manufactured park owners and residents, I submitted a petition to the government last year calling for greater consultation.”
“There were over 100 people at the forum I attended and many asked very pertinent questions of the proposed legislation, particularly with regards to site agreements and the sale of their property.” Mr Powell said.
Interested stakeholders are still able to comment on the proposed amendments before Friday 12 February by the following methods -

“It was obvious that a forum like this was needed to keep park owners and residents updated on changes and allow them the opportunity to have their say and ask questions of the experts.” Mr Powell said.
