In Association Croquet both Bray Shield and Lochwood Shield Pennant matches recently have yielded good results for players from Maleny’s Range Croquet Club.
FANTASTIC NEWS Sport and Rec has approved the grant for the 3rd court!!!!!! We still have a lot more fund raising to do to complete the court but at least we can start. Thanks to the committee and the grant writing team well done.
Last week seventeen boys and girls from Maleny Rangers U12 to U14 teams were treated to an intensive 4 day skills clinic, run by international coaches from Chelsea FC.
Monday, July 28th, both the winners and runners-up in the Men's Monthly Jackpot Pairs were locals. The winners with two wins plus 27 were Curley Petersen and Ian Hansen while the runners-up with plus13 in the second game were Bas Crain and Terry Lee.
Witta Wagtails had a solid win (61 games to 50, 9 sets to 3) over Nambour in spite of Liz Mellish’s very ordinary post dance form. Thanks to Simon Biggs, Denis O’Neil, Sean Lepper, Wayne Gray and Aki Lepper for getting us across the line.
Tuesday, June 22nd, the winners were Yvonne Cox, Tom Jollow and Ben Gills with two wins and another impressive margin for the second consecutive week.
The sunny weather in Maleny has drawn many players to the Range Croquet Club lawns.

There was only one game of netball played last week as the Cherry Toppers were forced to forfeit against the Cru due to a lack of players and there were no mixed games thanks to the State Of Origin, yay QLD.
DANCE DANCE DANCE this Saturday doors open at 6pm. Raffles, reindeer races, guess the weight of the Christmas pudding, Atlantic Crossing and lots more. It is cash only on the night as we don’t have credit card facilities. It’s going to be a fantastic night.
