Mens Fours 2010 Club Championship Final

In perfect conditions, the Likely Lads ( P. Thorogood – skip) were up against the

Bookies’ favourite ( A. Newman – skip). The Newman team went to an early ( 5 – 1) lead, but the Thorogood team found some consistency and pulled out to a 10 – 7 lead after  11 ends. They were able to sustain their focus to the end, while things just weren’t happening for the Newman team. Final score 22 to 8.

Congratulations to new Club Champions, Laurie Brown, Eric Lee, Neal McCarthy and Peter Thorogood, and to the Runners Up, Paul Evans, Paul Newman, Russell Hanson & Alan Newman.
