Witnesses are sought after a male pedestrian in his 20s was killed last night on the Bruce Highway at the Glasshouse Mountains. Preliminary investigations indicate the man had entered onto the northbound lanes near the Beerburrum exit when he was hit by a vehicle around 8pm.
He died at the scene. The male driver of the vehicle was not injured however he was taken to hospital for shock. The highway was closed with diversions in place to allow for Forensic Crash Unit officers to commence their investigations. The highway was reopened around 12.18am. Investigations are continuing.
