Appeal for witnesses, fatal crash, Glasshouse Mountains
Police wish to speak to two men in their early 20’s that were present at a crash site where a male pedestrian was killed on February 5. The men were seen walking on the Bruce Highway, western side of the north bound lanes, at the Glasshouse Mountains around 8.15pm. Preliminary investigations indicate that a male pedestrian had entered the northbound lanes near the Beerburrum exit when he was hit by a vehicle around 8pm. He died at the scene. The male driver of the vehicle was not injured however he was taken to hospital for shock. Investigations are continuing.
