Shingle Inn Caloundra

It’s decadent, delicious and deserved. So promises the new Shingle Inn in Caloundra on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast.

The name is famous in Brisbane circles with Shingle Inn Cafés & Bakery owned by only two families during its 72-year history.

The new franchised coffee shop in Caloundra is located underneath the swish apartment complex Monaco in Otranto Avenue connected to one of the region’s premier lifestyle precincts The Waterfront - Caloundra’s Boardwalk.

Settle in for High Tea served daily and enjoy a glass of champers to start followed by a caramelised leek and brie tartlet, a ribbon ham sandwich and two Oxford Blanket sandwiches with gourmet fillings of asparagus and smoked salmon. Leave room for dessert of two home-made scones served with jam and cream, an individual lemon cheese tart, a delicious sweetheart biscuit and a Patty Cake. Finish it all off with a pot of tea or cup of coffee, all for $26.50. There’s even a special high tea that’s a real treat for kids for $9.90.

Shingle Inn is perfect for breakfast and lunch and delicious coffees anytime. There’s also an extensive range of stunning and mouth-watering takeaway cakes. Telephone (07) 5491 4266.
