More than 150 tourism operators from across Maroochy got together last night, Wednesday, 19 August to learn more about the tourism reform taking place in the region and to meet the new Central Area Reference Group at an information session and networking event held at Il Secondo in Maroochydore.
The event, hosted by discovermaroochy.com.au, provided guests with further information on what the reform means for businesses going forward as well as the opportunity to network and foster mutually beneficial relationships with like-minded industry members. The event was attended by tourism partners, industry spokespeople and regional councillors including Cr Chris Thompson and Cr Debbie Blumel.
